Invest 90L has popped up as a “Code Orange” – aka 30-50% chance of development.
She looks a mess. I see some serious ongoing convection, but the upper level is very hostile and shearing off anything. There are multiple “centers” or low pressure areas, and not much is consolidating. If this were August it would already have formed in my opinion. The boiling hot Atlantic waters are actually starting to frighten me.
