NOAA calls May 26th, start of rainy season

I disagree. I did report an extended period of “close enough” dewpoints, but immediately after that period they dropped and its stayed dry as a bone here.  Last year at this time it was unmistakable, but something is wrong this year.  The NWS looks to the recent burst of popcorn showers that came through late last week and earlier this week, and the occasional convective storm thats popped up as a sign that its started.  I think we have a couple weeks to go.

We are FEET below our normal rainfall in the dry season.
