2 August 2010

Today brings a complex mix of phenomenon, culminating in a 50% chance of precipitation, mainly early.

We have a surface high pressure moving north, taking its subsidence along with it.  We have a mid/upper trough moving from lake o region south, further eradicating the subsidence.  We do have easterlies but since our precip is expected to be from the troughiness and not necessarily from seabreeze stuff, we will see the popcorn and more widespread storms blow in off the Atlantic today.
