It’s 4:30p and the storms are POPPING! A line from WPB to the sugar fields along US-27 has a particularly good signature on radar. Otherwise we have a cell south of 595 consolidating – basically Hallandale to Weston is under yellow/red and it ain’t really moving but just a touch north. One cell seems to be following 95 north, and another just west of the sawgrass drifting north. While 500mb layer was fairly cold, I didn’t think CAPE was that high, only about 1500ish this AM, and the LI was -3, so I expected seabreeze stuff, but NOT this huge conglomeration happening. That deep layer moisture really kicks it up… Getting ready to drive through it so watch my twitter:
